Kid's and Parents Summer Camps!

In 2006 our Kid's Kamp was held the last week in June at the camp in Mineral California. Many fun activities were available for the kids, including art projects, nature walks and fishing. We also had special speakers present useful information to the children to bring awareness.

The US Forest Service was one of the agencies that came to speak and present the kids with issues on safety in the forest. Another was a speaker presenting protection from abduction.

The camp was open to 80 children ages 6-18. We have need for adult counselor's and assistant counselor's every year for our camp. This requires an application and a DOJ Fingerprint background check.

Our Parent Camp was held for one day in April at the Susanville Assembly of God Church. Our camp included information on parenting issues, relaxation, stress, and had different activities available to parents such art projects, and pampering yourself, and a self-defense workshop.  It was filled with fun and useful information on parenting.
