Kid's Kamp!

In 2008 our Kid's Kamp was held the second week in August at Lassen County Fair Grounds. Many fun activities were available for the kids, including art projects, horseback riding, eating and water fun. We also had special speakers from the Susanville Fire Department and Police Department, along with the Lassen County Sheriff's Office present useful information to the children to bring awareness of good citizenship.

The US Forest Service was also one of the agencies that came to speak and present the kids with issues on safety in the forest. Another was a speaker presenting protection from abduction.

The camp was open to 60 children ages 6-18. We have need for adult counselor's and assistant counselor's every year for our camp. This requires an application and a DOJ Fingerprint background check.
